We are seeking investment for the development of a PrestaShop-based E-Commerce Platform aimed at small and medium-sized businesses. This platform will include several key features to enhance security, scalability, and user experience. The goal is to create a modern, competitive solution that can be rapidly adopted in the market, thus providing an attractive return on investment.

2. Objectives, Requirements, and Proposed Solutions

Our objective is to deliver a robust, scalable, and secure platform that meets modern e-commerce demands. We have identified the following core areas:

  • Security & Vulnerability Management
    Ensuring the platform remains secure by integrating automated scanning and rapid patching.

  • Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD)
    Streamlined development through Git-based workflows, enabling faster releases and better code quality.

  • User-Friendly Payment Experience
    Integrations with major payment gateways to improve the checkout experience and accommodate various customer preferences.

3. Development & Release Plan

Below is a high-level schedule to guide our development and release milestones:

Proposed Funding Structure
We seek an investment of 109,055.48 € (incl. VAT) to cover development costs. In return, the investor will receive equity or another agreed-upon compensation arrangement that aligns with the project’s revenue projections.

5. Team & Key Contributors

This project will be delivered by LinearB, a dedicated group of developers and designers specializing in e-commerce solutions. Our team has expertise in:

  • PrestaShop and other major e-commerce platforms
  • DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker)
  • Cybersecurity and vulnerability scanning
  • Payment gateway integrations

6. Additional Considerations

  • Language: English preferred; Finnish also supported by select team members.
  • Validity: This investment proposal is valid until 25.02.2025.
  • Scope: This proposal is part of a student project at JAMK University of Applied Sciences. While non-binding, the approach and estimates reflect a genuine development process.
