Status of sprint 00 Date 17.01.2025

What has been achieved

This sprint was about getting the team together and listening to a lot of information on the project.

Do we have a problems/challenges?

The biggest problem was that we were presented a HUGE wall of information, before we had any time to establish a team. As the team practices were not in place, we had many different understandings of what was expected of us within our team. Unfortunately we had no way of creating a shared understanding of "what to do", "who does it" and "why we do it", because we had not been given any time to establish an actual working team.

Next steps

Most important task in the next sprint is to form a team and decide on how we work as a team.

Status of sprint 01 Date 31.01.2025

What has been achieved

This sprint was all about learning who we are as a team, how do we work together, what Agile methods we would be using, what this project is about, and setting up CSC services and cPouta so that we can deploy our PrestaShop in cloud.

Do we have a problems/challenges?

We had quite a lot of problems understanding what this project is about. We also had some problems with working together, as we had not had enough time to setup team working methods, structure and rituals.

In the end we were able to create a "talkative" team, that was able to discuss things and find a shared view of what we need to do, who is going to do it, and how are we going to get there.

Next steps

Next steps are to continue with the OPS (Open Project Framework) to get our PrestaShop service up an running. Next sprint is going to be about Epics, Features, issues, user stories, and Requirement Specification.

Status of sprint 02 Date 14.02.2025

What has been achieved

During Sprint 02 we have been concentrating on updating the requirement specification, writing a communication plan, writing a risk management plan, started writing the offer, Jayani decided to create out homepage using React.js, made a final decision on Epics and Features we would concentrate on, created issues of the user story's related to our selected features, started to estimate the costs and create a budget, created a first draft of roadmap and drafted our first test cases.

Sami and Eetu have also been working on setting up our PrestaShop in cPouta cloud service. They have also been working on docker and containers.

Do we have a problems/challenges?

No real problems, it was mostly trying to get a good understanding of the project. Lot's of communication and talking about what is expected of us, how can we achieve the goals and how can we work together as efficiently as possible.

Next steps

Next sprint is about preparing for investor presentation, we are finally getting close to being done with documents.

Status of sprint 03 Date 21.02.2025

What has been achieved

During Sprint 03 we have been concentrating on getting ready for our investor meeting / presentation on Friday 14.2.2025. This has involved work on: - Setup our homepage to work with GitLab pages. - Update and finish documenting the features - Update and finish documenting the issues - Update the Requirement Specification - Update the Project Plan - Finish the budget / cost estimation - Prepare a presentation for the investors - Update risk management plan This has been a bit of a crunch for us, but by Friday morning we were 95% ready.

Do we have a problems/challenges?

At the moment we don't have any problems. Jayani, Sami and Eetu had some challenges to get our React.js build homepage setup, so that it works with GitLab pages. In the end they were able to solve the issues and all is working now. Jayani absolutely nailed our homepage, it is beautiful, responsive and looks modern! Well done Jayani! Next steps

Next we finally get to start working on the actual features! Project planning phase is finally completed! :)

Status of sprint 04 Date 14.03.2025

What has been achieved

Sprint planning for Sprint 04 is done and we all have our hands full. We are eager and happy to finally get a chance to work with PrestaShop, the days of requirement specification and project plan are over!

Do we have a problems/challenges?

Sami is having some minor problems with containers, the same problem seems to be shared with other teams. This problem was solved by Sami 11.3.2025. In the end is was a problem in configuration.

Next steps

At the moment out testers Sol and Valtteri have started learning their tools and how to implement them to our project. Lassi started learning about payment gateways and their integration into PrestaShop. Eetu is concentrating on the security side of things. Jayani is looking into implementing bug fixing practices to our project and Sami is working on perfecting our OPS.

Status of sprint 05 Date 21.03.2025

What has been achieved

Sami has the operations side quite well wrapped up. Still something to do with MariaDB integration and dockerizing the PrestaShop service. Sol and Valtteri have been learning about testing and doing some documenting. There is still some ways to go, for us to have testing implemented in GitLab CI/CD. Jayani is progressing with creating the tools for bug fixing protocols and methods. Eetu completed the first user story (US007) of his Epic 1 - Security Fixes / Feature 010. Lassi was able to install Paytrail payment gateway to our PrestaShop and document the installation process.

Do we have a problems/challenges?

No problems, just a lot of work.

Next steps

Sami started working with MariaDB integration. Lassi started working with Klarna payment gateway integration and completed Klarna integration. Lassi started working on Stripe payment gateway. Eetu is contemplating on bugs to fix / next user story to complete. Jayani started working with using git branching with bug fixing. Valtteri is working with Robot Framework and Sol is studying / implementing testing to our project.

Status of sprint 06 Date 04.04.2025

What has been achieved

Sprint planning session took our whole tuesday 1th of April, but now we know what we are doing and who is going to do what. Friday 4th of April we delved into the intriguing world of Aplha Cards in Agile. We had a team meeting to go through Alpha Cards Opportunity, Work, Ways of Working and Team.

Do we have a problems/challenges?

We have been having some issues with establishing Robot Framework into our project. At the moment there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel. We got a new updated instruction on how to implement Robot Framework in your software development project.
